Venice

Venice has a minimum winter temperature of 2-3°C and maximum summer temperature of 24-25°C. There is a lot of humidity in Venice bringing many foggy days in autumn and winter, and sultry days in the summer. The weather in Venice is heavily influenced by the proximity of the Padana Plain, which gives Venice a continental Mediterranean climate. It rains a lot in spring and in autumn. The prevalent winds in Venice are the Bora wind, in winter and spring, and the Sirocco in the summer.

The phenomenon of Acqua Alta (flooding) happens mainly in autumn.
